Pre-Order, Reservation, Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Ivry-B.

We want your pre-order experience to be simple, transparent, and risk-free. This policy explains how reservations, final payments, cancellations, shipping delays, returns, and refunds work for Ivry-B products offered on a pre-order basis.

1. Your $99 Reservation

A $99 reservation secures your place in the upcoming Ivry-B production run and locks in the price displayed at the time of your reservation.

For the first 100 Ivry-B 15 hives reserved at the $899 launch price, after which the price is $995:

• $99 is paid when you reserve your hive.
• The remaining $800 will be requested just before your Ivry-B enters production.
• We will contact you by email when your final payment is due.
• Your remaining balance will not be automatically charged unless you have expressly authorized us to do so.

Your $99 reservation is fully refundable at any time until your Ivry-B ships. If you change your mind before shipment, simply contact us at service@ivry-b.com, and we will cancel your reservation and refund all amounts you have paid.

There is no cancellation fee for a pre-order cancelled before shipment.

2. Expected Shipping Date

The estimated shipping date for your Ivry-B will be clearly displayed on the product page and in your order confirmation.

Current estimated dispatch date: your hive ships by Jan 31st, 2026 at the latest

Because Ivry-B products are manufactured in production batches, manufacturing or transportation schedules may occasionally change. If we are unable to ship your order within the timeframe communicated to you, we will contact you with an updated estimated shipping date. You will then have the choice to:

• Accept the revised shipping date and keep your order active; or
• Cancel your order and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

You will never be required to accept an unexpected shipping delay.

3. Final Payment

Just before your Ivry-B batch enters production, we will contact you to request payment of the remaining balance.

For an Ivry-B 15 reserved at the $899 launch price:

• Reservation paid: $99
• Remaining balance: $800

Your order will not ship until the remaining balance has been paid.

If you decide not to complete your purchase, you may cancel your reservation before shipment and receive a full refund of your $99 reservation payment. If you have already paid the remaining balance but your order has not yet shipped, you may still cancel and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

4. Cancellation Before Shipment

You may cancel your Ivry-B order at any time before it ships.

To cancel, contact us at service@ivry-b.com. Please include your name and order number.

If your order has not shipped, we will refund all payments made toward that order, including the reservation payment and any balance already paid. We will issue refunds to the original payment method.

5. Returns After Delivery

We want you to be happy with your Ivry-B. You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided that the product:

• Has not been assembled;
• Has not been used to house bees;
• Has not been modified;
• Is returned with all original components;
• Is in its original packaging and in resalable condition.

Before returning your Ivry-B, contact us at service@ivry-b.com to receive return authorization and shipping instructions. Please do not send a product back without first contacting us.

Unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Any original shipping charges that were separately charged are non-refundable.

6. Assembled or Used Hives

Because Ivry-B is a self-assembly product intended to house a live bee colony, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns once the hive has been assembled, installed outdoors or used to house bees.

This restriction does not affect claims relating to manufacturing defects, missing components, shipping damage or an incorrect product.

7. Damaged, Defective or Missing Parts

Every Ivry-B kit is inspected before shipment. If your order arrives damaged, contains a defective component, or is missing a part, please contact us as soon as possible at service@ivry-b.com.

If possible, include:

• Your order number;
• A description of the problem; and
• Photographs of the product and packaging.

We will work with you to provide the appropriate replacement part, repair, replacement product or refund.

If the problem resulted from shipping damage, a manufacturing defect, an incorrect shipment or a missing component, Ivry-B will cover the reasonable cost of the required replacement or return shipping.

8. Bees and Beekeeping Results

Bees are not included with your Ivry-B unless specifically stated otherwise.

Ivry-B is a functioning beehive and, like any beehive, requires appropriate colony management, maintenance and responsible beekeeping practices. Colony health, honey production, bee behavior and colony survival depend on many factors outside Ivry-B's control, including climate, forage availability, colony condition, pests, disease and beekeeping practices. These factors are not considered product defects.

If you are new to beekeeping, we strongly recommend working with an experienced beekeeper or local beekeeping association.

9. Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

We aim to process eligible refunds promptly and, where applicable, within 7 business days of cancellation or approval of the refund. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time before the refund appears on your account.

10. If Ivry-B Cancels a Production Run

In the unlikely event that Ivry-B determines that it cannot manufacture or fulfill your pre-ordered product, your order will be cancelled, and 100% of all amounts you paid will be refunded.

A reservation does not require you to accept a substitute or materially different product.

11. Changes to Product Specifications

As we prepare a new production run, minor improvements may be made to materials, packaging, finishes, or components.

We will not make a material change that significantly alters the product you ordered without informing you. If a material change is proposed and you do not wish to accept it, you may cancel your order before shipment and receive a full refund.

Launch Offer, Shipping and Tax

The $899 launch price applies to the first 100 Ivry-B 15 hives reserved. After that, the price is $995. Standard ground shipping to the 48 contiguous US states is included. Applicable state and local sales tax is additional.
