About us
We started with one question: what if the hive were kinder?
Ivry-B began in a small workshop with a beekeeper, a furniture maker and a very patient colony. Conventional hives asked the bees to adapt to us, heavy boxes, smoke, weekly disruption. We wanted the opposite.
Four prototypes later we had a rounded, insulated cavity with a full-length window, flat-packed so it could reach any backyard in the country without a freight truck. It went on television, found an investor, and then found hundreds of gardens.
We still make hives in small batches, we still answer our own emails, and we still believe the most useful thing a beekeeper can do most weeks is simply watch.

What we stand for
Three commitments
Bees first
Every design choice starts with colony health: cavity shape, ventilation, insulation, spacing. Convenience comes second, and usually follows anyway.
Materials we can trace
FSC-certified western red cedar, food-safe finishes, plastic only where it earns its place. Packaging is paper and pulp, no foam.
Made to be repaired
Bolted, not glued. Every panel, frame and window shutter can be replaced individually and shipped as a spare part.
Our vision
An innovative approach to beekeeping
Welcome to IVRY-B, where we strive to provide unique, modern, and sustainable solutions for beekeeping.
Our vision is to offer a simple-to-assemble and operate beehive that allows amateur beekeepers to nurture and care for honey bees with minimal interference in their natural lives.
Our beehive is a perfect fit for your home, school, community garden, agricultural farm, or even on the rooftop of a residential building. The round and transparent design of our hive is a unique feature that provides a rare glimpse into the fascinating world of bees and their activities inside the hive, without the need to disturb them by opening the lid.
At IVRY-B, we use only the best quality materials in the construction of our beehive, which is made of wood and other high-quality components. Our hive is not only beautiful and functional but is also sustainable, providing a safe and comfortable environment for bees to thrive and reproduce.
We believe that by supporting bees, you not only contribute to their survival but also to the health and well-being of your environment. With IVRY-B, you will experience a fascinating and enriching journey into the world of beekeeping, with blooming and thriving gardens in the spring and pure, high-quality honey for you and your family.
Thank you for choosing IVRY-B, and we look forward to helping you embark on your journey as a beekeeper.

Our team
The people behind the hive
We are a small team of beekeepers, makers and designers working to bring bees back to everyday life.
As seen on Shark Tank
Backed on national television, adopted in hundreds of backyards
Our pitch for a gentler kind of beekeeping earned an investment on Shark Tank, and since then, families, schools and small farms across the world have put an Ivry-B hive in the garden.
