How it works

Beekeeping that starts calm and stays calm

No prior experience needed. The design makes observation easy and keeps disturbance to a minimum. The colony still needs regular beekeeping care and management from you.

How it works

Three steps from reservation to first comb

  1. 1

Reserve your hive ($99 refundable deposit)

Reserve an Ivry-B 15 hive at $785. Your $99 deposit is credited toward the total and fully refundable until your hive ships. The current $686 balance is charged just before production begins.

  2. 2

Receive your flat-pack kit & assemble it

Numbered cedar panels, dowels and a hex key. An afternoon of quiet work with simple tools.

  3. 3

    Welcome your colony & observe

Introduce a swarm or nucleus, then watch the comb grow through the full-length inspection window.
